Anti-bullying film auditions
Oswestry-based Rocking Horse Studios are hosting auditions this weekend on the look out for you men to take part in an anti-bullying film.
Filming is underway for the Run for Your Life feature film being filmed in and around the town.
Writer and director, Gareth Thomas is marking national, Anti Bullying Week by holding auditions for local young males, between 16 and 30 years old, to get involved.
Mr Thomas said: "We have not had any problem getting young women to come along and audition but traditionally young men seem less keen to put themselves forward.
"We have decided to hold specific, male auditions to encourage more men to get involved."
He said the auditions would be held on November 18 at the Memorial Hall in Oswestry
“We’ve cast some great local talent in recent months, some who have never done anything like this before,” said Mr Thomas.
“However, there seems to be a stigma attached to young men in our community getting involved."
The feature length film tells the story of a gifted, autistic teenager and her struggles with bullying.
