The branch says that it wants to share people's experiences of lockdown whilst raising money to help older people in north Shropshire.

Anne Wignall from the branch said: "During lockdown, we’ve seen some brilliant photos online of views from people's window, pictures taken on walks of the beautiful scenery and wildlife in the local area, and snaps of new hobbies people taken up such as baking, painting and gardening.

"We would people you to send in their photos that we can share them with others

First prize winners will receive a framed photo of their winning entry, and the top three will receive a rosette and certificate. The best twelve entries from across the county will be featured in Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s 2022 calendar. All entries will be posted online.

There are two categories: A = 14 years and under, and B = 15 years and people are to pay £2 per entry
