Firefighters battle blaze at home near Much Wenlock
Firefighters had to battle for almost an hour to bring a fire in a property in near Much Wenlock under control.
The alarm was raised just after 5am on Saturday at Acton Round.
Fire crews from Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth were quickly on scene along with an operations officer.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the occupants had managed to get outside before crews arrived.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the building and brought the fire on the ground floor under control within the hour. They also ventilated the property.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
