Cat rescued after getting stuck 25 feet up a tree in Much Wenlock

Fire fighters in Much Wenlock helped rescue a cat which was stuck 25 feet up a tree on Thursday afternoon.

The fire crew received the call at 12.22pm to attend an incident classified as an animal rescue on Station Road.

The RSPCA was also in attendance and the crew used a nine metre ladder to rescue the cat, who has stuck approximately 25 feet up the tree.

The firefighter was up the tree for around 30 minutes before the cat was rescued and returned to its owner.
