Brexit likely to be hot topic at shows this year
With the election by then over and Brexit making the future looking uncertain for farmers, Berrys is expecting a busy time at agricultural events this year.
The firm, which has just moved to larger office premises at Shrewsbury Business Park, started the show season close to home at Shropshire County Show on May 27 and will be attending the Arable Event on June 21 where partners and staff will be on the stand to chat to passers-by.
“We are looking forward to welcoming clients as well as some new faces onto our stand,” said marketing manager Emily Evans.
“They will be able to chat with our partners and staff about property, business and planning matters while having a welcome sit-down away from the event crowds.
“Farmers are anticipating a lot of change post Brexit and we anticipate discussion around how businesses can be strengthened in light of the uncertainty”
Look out for the Berrys stand at the following shows: Cheshire Show (June 20 and 21), Arable Event (June 21), Newport Show (July 8); Nantwich Show (July 26); Burwarton Show (August 3), Oswestry Show (August 5); Blakesley Show (August 5); Minsterley Show (August 19); Kington Show (September 9) and Cheshire Ploughing Match (September 27).
