Two blocks of roadside pastureland near Bishop' Castle are to be sold by public auction next month.

The land, which was formerly part of Lower Broughton, extends to 18.26 acres and will go under the hammer at the Three Tuns, Bishop's Castle on Wednesday, March 26, at 6.30pm.

Auctioneer James Evans, of Halls in Welshpool is selling the land on behalf of Mr and Mrs W. J. Powell, who are reducing their stock numbers.

The two lots comprise 5.87 acres and 12.39 acres and each has a natural water supply and direct access on to the road between Montgomery and Bishop's Castle.

Mr Evans is anticipating interest from horse owners, smallholders, those seeking amenity land, investors and farmers looking to expand their operations.
