John Amos & Co have recently completed the sale of 164 acres of land at The Hay, Neenton, Bridgnorth. Situated just south west of Bridgnorth, the arable holding, with a guide price of £600,000, was for sale in one lot.

The sale created a large amount of interest from local residents, nearby

farmers and investors from further a field.

In the event, a good number of tenders were received and the holding sold comfortably above the guide price.

Angela Roberts MRICS, of John Amos & Co, who handled the sale on behalf of the company said: "The interest generated by this sale really reflects the range of farming and non-farming buyers who are competing in the current land market. They continue to support land prices through increased confidence in the agricultural sector."

The firm has several clients who have not yet been able to secure farms and land in the area and, therefore, anyone considering selling should contact Angela Roberts MRICS for a free initial market appraisal on 01568 610007.
