Suffolks take championship
Suffolks took the overall championship pen of prime lambs at Welshpool Livestock Market.

Presented by Mr and Mrs Maurice Jones of Chirbury Hall, the pen of five lambs averaged 43.5kg and sold at £89/head.
They were purchased by local butcher and sponsor Rikki Lloyd.
Nick Davies of Dowton Estate, Ludlow is to speak on the merits of using a Suffolk ram on the commercial flock at Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Suffolk Club meeting next Monday.
The talk will follow the annual meeting which commences at 7.30pm at Shrewsbury Livestock Market.
