Good trade at Ludlow
Ludlow market reported a "blistering trade" with a total of 514 finished cattle going through on October 16.

A spokesman said that exporters were to the fore through the day. "It was nothing short of blistering trade" he said.
Best cattle sold up to 150.0p per kilo and many more could have been sold to advantage.
The bulls on offer were a good trade with a shortage of best bulls in the entry.
The overall average for cows was 65.6 per kilo which compared more than favourably with deadweight quotations or any other market.
