Woman dies after collapsing at V Festival
A woman has died four days after collapsing at the V Festival on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.
Rhiannon Morris, 27, from St Austell, Cornwall, collapsed in the main arena at Weston Park, near Shifnal, on Saturday afternoon.
She was airlifted to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire where she died in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The South Staffordshire coroner said her death was not being treated as suspicious and there was no suggestion that drugs were involved.
Ms Morris was treated by emergency crews at the festival site, said the coroner's office.
A post-mortem will be carried out within the next few days.
There have now been two deaths connected with the festival, after 22-year-old Shropshire man Timothy Brockhurst died early on Sunday.
Mr Brockhurst, from Stoke Heath, near Market Drayton, was found not breathing in his tent and died despite the efforts of medical teams. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
