One of the Midlands' fastest growing construction firms has added another blue chip client to the list after securing a £6 million deal with house builder Radbrook Homes in Shropshire.
The contract, which takes the company's recent wins to over £30 million, will see it build 55 apartments and five luxury homes on the former site of the Radbrook Hall Hotel in Shrewsbury.
Over 75 employees and sub-contractors from Willenhall-based Elmondstone will be working on the development over the next 18 months to ensure that the project is completed on time and in keeping with the architectural design of the area.
Phil Taylor, head of business development at Elmondstone, said: "The residential market is one of the fastest growing areas of our business, with our reputation for expert design, project management and ability to deliver the latest construction techniques paving the way for high-profile contracts with Cassidy Group, Nurton Developments and David Poyner Homes."
He continued: "Our latest deal with Radbrook Homes is particularly exciting, as this is one of the sector's newest and most innovative players both in terms of approach and end product.
Angela Bath, director at the fledgling housebuilder, added: "We wanted a company that understood our ethos and what we are trying to do in providing schemes that are different and unique when compared to the larger developers.
"Elmondstone demonstrated that in abundance and the fact that all of the workers will be from the Black Country and Shropshire ensured that our sizeable investment remained very much in the local area."
