Shakeel joining practice

Telford lawyer Shakeel Ahmed has joined Clarkes Solicitors.

MFG Solicitors, formerly Gwynnes Solicitors, have ceased their criminal workload with cases, with the clients' consent, transferred to Clarkes.

Shakeel joins a team of six specialist criminal lawyers at Clarkes Solicitors' Oakengates office. He had worked at MFG for more than four years, specialising in crime, and has built up a strong reputation with clients in the Shropshire area.

He said: "I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to join Clarkes Solicitors. I have specialised in criminal law for many years and bring with me a wealth of client experience I have gained from working in the city and other legal practices.
