New guided pilgrim paths have been launched in Kington
Churches in Kington parish have launched the Kington Benefice Pilgrim Path Project

It features guided circular pilgrim trails from each of the churches including St Marys in Kington, St Stephen’s in Old Radnor, St Peters in Titley, St Thomas a Becket in Huntington and St Mary’s in Kinnerton.
The churches of the Kington Benefice offer pilgrims the hospitality of their buildings, which are open daily and the opportunity to explore the local environment along ancient ways, through outstanding landscapes.
Organisers invite everyone to make these short pilgrim journeys in a spirit of openness to what it might offer, delight in the countryside through which you travel and companionship with those who have travelled this way before and will do so after you.
Accompanied by experienced guides, there will be opportunities for conversation and reflection, encounter and exploration.
Those who would like to take part in the pilgrimages should meet at 1.45 at each church door ready for a prompt 2pm start.
The trail will start from St Mary’s Church in Kington on May 18, at St Stephen’s in Old Radnor on June 15, at St Peter’s in Titley on July 20, at St Thomas A Becket in Huntington on August 17 and St Mary’s in Kinnerton on September 21.
Refreshments will be available on return
The pilgrim trails are free to join, but booking is essential as places are limited.
