Leominster gets a new bus provider - with capped fares for limited time
A new bus provider has taken over the running of a town's services.
Bus company Sargeants took over the majority of bus services in Leominster from Monday.
This includes the 490 Leominster to Ludlow service, although the 8:15am. 9:05am, 14:45pm and 15:45pm service to Ludlow will not be operating.
A spokesperson for Sargeants said ticket prices for this route have been capped for the first fortnight of operations at £1.50.
The spokesperson added: “To help introduce Sargeants to Leominster and to compensate for the disruptions caused, we will offer a day ticket for just £1.50 for the first two weeks.”
