Woman pleads guilty to causing crash with child in the car while way over the drink drive limit
A woman who drove with a young child in her car while she was so drunk that she crashed causing "substantial damage" will be sentenced for her offences in the new year.
The 32-year-old woman pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a child, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, and for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Telford Magistrates Court was told on Tuesday (December 24) that the woman had recorded a non-evidential roadside breath test reading of 126, which is more than three times the limit of 35, after a crash in Pontesbury on December 11 this year.
