Tattooists banking on success in new high street shop in Newport
A pair of tattoo artists have opened a new tattoo studio in a former bank in Newport’s High Street.
Requiem Tattoo Shropshire, owned by Alexander and Lizzi Kuzmin opened its doors for bookings on Friday, after moving into a sought-after location in Newport town centre.
The husband and wife team previously worked in Shrewsbury, but were attracted to the three-storey period building at 95 High Street by its character, which used to be Lloyds bank.
Alexander, also known as Sasha, an award-winning tattooist who specialises in realism, said: “It’s a very cool building and we think it adds a lot of character.
