First Minister Carwyn Jones to open Newtown factory
First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones will open a new engineering plant in Mid Wales.

Mr Jones will open the new lab at Control Techniques in Newtown next month – a facility which will create 35 new jobs.
The business, in Pool Road, Newtown, designs and makes products that control the speed of engines in mining, food production and theatres.
The firm already employs more than 2,000 people across 55 global locations, including 600 people at its two sites in Newtown.
The new building will allow the company to fuel new growth across a range of emerging markets, the company said.
