Tadgedale Quarry plans to be unveiled next month
Detailed plans that could see 120 homes built on the site of a disused quarry are set to be unveiled in the near future.
The plans for Tadgedale Quarry in Loggerheads, near Market Drayton, were discussed by local residents at a public consultation event in June.
And developer Renew Land Developments has now said that it will be submitting a planning application by the end of September.

Lee Dawkin, managing director, said: "Since the public consultation Renew Land and its planning consultants have been collating and reading through all comments made by the public and members.
"All of these comments are currently being considered and the final planning application is being tailored to try and accommodate all points raised."
Initial plans said developers were hoping to build about 120 homes on the site, with a mixture of three, four and five bedrooms, affordable housing, and also public green areas.
The disused quarry has been highlighted by developers as a positive area to build upon, as it is unpopular among local people because of its use as a storage yard for heavy machinery.
And the consultation saw plans receive mixed feedback with some concerned about the effect it could have on local infrastructure, whilst others have welcomed preserving agricultural land and building on a brownfield site.
Plans will be submitted to Staffordshire County Council.
