Witness appeal over Market Drayton fatal crash
Police have appealed for witnesses to a crash which claimed the life of a 34-year-old man in Shropshire.
The man, who has not yet been named, died in the crash between a milk tanker and van near Market Drayton.
The accident happened in Spoonley, on the A529 Adderley Road, at about 2pm on Monday.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he is not expected to be formally identified for a couple of days.
The driver of the milk tanker, a 61-year-old man, was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, where he was today recovering.
Police say the driver of the milk lorry was travelling from Adderley towards Market Drayton, while the driver of the van was travelling in the opposite direction.
