Timmy Phillips moved from Spain to Shropshire last year to find work, and soon got a job as a waiter at Shrewsbury's Casa Naranjo restaurant.

And when the 20-year-old, who lives in Shifnal, is not collecting dishes, he practises break dancing and body popping, and has earned himself something of a following.

A video of his moves has become an internet hit, and now diners even ask him to dance as he serves their meals.

Timmy is bemused by all the attention, however, having originally learnt all his moves from videos.

He said: "I must have started break dancing when I was about 12.

"A friend of mine came over and said look at this, he put on this video of someone breakdancing and I thought maybe I could do that.

"It went from there, I just watched lots of videos and I entered some break dance competitions in Spain."

Timmy is originally from Valencia and came to the UK in December.

He has taught other youngsters how to dance, but he currently doesn't have a dance space to practise in.

He said: "I just practise whenever I get the chance which is usually during my break at work.

"A lot of people round Shrewsbury have seen me dancing because I also dance in the Darwin Shopping Centre.

"The mirrors by the old JJB store are perfect and I get different reactions.

"People have said I should enter Britain's Got Talent but I think I would only last one or two rounds.

"Customers ask me to dance when I am in the middle of serving food, and videos of me dancing have gone all over the internet.

"I'm just passionate about dancing, I love body popping and I just do it anywhere really."
