Warning as fog causes delays
Heavy fog caused flight cancellations and disruption on the region's roads today.

Visibility was reduced to just 50 metres in places and forecasters warned the fog would linger for the whole day in some places.
Motorists travelling during rush hour were reduced to a crawl on some roads as police issued a warning for drivers to keep their distance.
The Met Office today issued a yellow warning in Shropshire and Wales for today and tomorrow, meaning commuters should "be aware" of the fog. But they say the outlook remains dry and calm.
