Tom Brabazon, 25, from Llansantffraid, died from his injuries in hospital on November 27.

His family has described him as someone who lived life to the full and was enjoying the experience of being a father to four-month-old James William.

In a statement the family said: "Sadly we have had to say goodbye to our beloved Tom. He led a very happy and full life, leaving behind him a massive legacy of love. He will be missed very much and he lives on in all our hearts. He was newly wed to the happiest bride in the world and revelling in the joys of new fatherhood."

Mr Brabazon went to Shrewsbury School and was studying automotive engineering at university.

Police have reissued an appeal for anyone with information about the crash, which happened at about 5pm on November 27, to contact the roads policing unit at Newtown police station on 101.
