Football fan Angela Heath, from Market Drayton, will be off to Wembley next week to see England take on Scotland, after winning a pair of tickets in a prize draw.

Angela took part in a "favourite football memories" competition at Shropshire Football Association's prizegiving dinner last weekend.

Guests at the event were invited to write down their favourite memory from any standards of football, and Angela chose the day when Shrewsbury Town FC beat Ipswich and Manchester City in FA Cup giantkillings at the Gay Meadow. Her coupon was the first out of the hat, giving her two tickets to the match on August 14.

Roy Waterfield, Shropshire FA's chief executive, said: "The England v Scotland game has been organised as part of the FA's 150th anniversary celebrations, and that is what we were celebrating at our two nights of Shropshire community awards.

"We had some fabulous suggestions for favourite over the two nights of our awards. Angela's memory was the first out of the hat from the Saturday night.

"Another pair of tickets are going to Ann Clarkson, of Telford, who won the Friday night draw. Ann said that watching Telford United beat Rochdale 4-1 in the FA Cup was her best memory."
