Arrest threat to pitch-invading Wolves fans
Wolves fans who invaded the pitch at Molineux were today warned they face arrest and bans – as the club faces an historic second successive relegation.
The defeat to Burnley means Wolves are in danger of becoming the first club ever to twice slide from the top tier to the third division in just two seasons, unless they can achieve a football miracle on Saturday.
The club today pledged to work with police to track down those involved in the incident.
Detectives were scouring CCTV to track down hundreds of Wolves fans who poured onto the pitch after the club's 2-1 defeat against Burnley.
Officers will be checking photographs and working alongside the club in an attempt to arrest those responsible.

About 300 fans ran onto the pitch at the final whistle following the loss, which leaves them almost certainly relegated to League One.
Advertising boards were kicked down and thrown towards stewards and two holes were smashed through the dugout. Two fans chased defender Roger Johnson and confronted him before the arguing player was ushered away by stewards.
The supporters congregated in front of the Billy Wright stand, where the board of directors are based, and began chanting "Love the Club, Hate the Board."
