Tributes have been paid to two friends who died in an horrific car crash in Shropshire. The victims, named locally as Gareth Tyson, of Hodnet, and Jack Speight, of Market Drayton, died in the accident near Peplow.
The men, both in their early 20s, were pronounced dead at the scene after a black Volkswagen Golf left the A442 and crashed into trees at about 10.40pm on Monday.
A condolence page has now been set up on Facebook and features dozens of comments from friends and family.
Wendy Tate wrote: "It's hard to put into words the saddness I feel right now for the loss of these two boys. I didn't know Gareth, but I knew Jack well. I will miss his smiling face driving about in his black golf, he never missed waving. It only seems five minutes ago he was in my house having a cuppa and fussing my dogs.
"He loved animals and was a caring lad. The world is a sadder place now . . . my thoughts are with both your families."
More than 200 people gathered in the Towers Lawn car park in Market Drayton on Tuesday night to pay their respects.
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to contact them on 101.
