Santander to close Shrewsbury branch

Banking giant Santander is to close one of its branches in Shrewsbury.

The company said it would shut the branch in Mardol Head later this month, with staff transferring from February 25 to its other two town centre sites – one on the High Street and the other in St Mary's Street.
