Tortoise taken by burglars in Whitchurch house raid

Thieves stole a pet tortoise worth £1,000 during a raid on a house in Whitchurch.

The eight-year-old reptile was taken along with its owner's £10,000 black BMW 745i, registration E3 SHE.

The burglary happened in Edward German Drive on Thursday some time between 4.30pm and 5pm while the owner was out.
