Prowler continues to target Newtown cars

A late-night prowler is continuing to target cars in Newtown and surrounding areas, stealing thousands of pounds of goods in at least a dozen raids over the past three weeks.

Dyfed-Powys Police has urged residents to be on their guard.

A number of car thefts happened in the town in August with more than 20 incidents. The crimes dipped in September, but have picked up again recently.
