Officers have appealed for information and believe the thieves may have been spotted leaving the house in Stoke Heath.

Officers have appealed for information and believe the thieves may have been spotted leaving the house in Stoke Heath.

They are also appealing for sightings of the silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration DY54UXO, which had been parked on the drive.

The break-in happened between 5.30pm on Wednesday and 6.30am yesterday at a house in Dutton Close, off Warrant Road.

Richard Ewels, West Mercia Police spokesman, said: "If anyone saw anything suspicious which might be related to this incident or has information concerning the whereabouts of the stolen Vauxhall Corsa, please contact Market Drayton police station on 03003 333000 or the Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111."
