Men too shy to face girls in contest
Shropshire men are proving too shy to take on the girls with not one bidding to be the Face of the Future 2010 a week after the competition was launched.
Shropshire men are proving too shy to take on the girls with not one bidding to be the Face of the Future 2010 a week after the competition was launched.
Now with a distinct lack of entries from the male of the species the Shropshire Star and Telford Shopping Centre are issuing an appeal to the ladies to prove their men have what it takes to be a winner on the catwalk.
We want girls to put forward their husbands, boyfriends, brothers and even dads if they think they have the potential to be a style star.

Next month 10 finalists - five women and five men - will take part in a glamorous evening wear photoshoot with a profile of each finalist to appear in the Shropshire Star during the Christmas holidays.
Our winners will be unveiled on New Year's Day.
The competition, won this year by Jodie Lee Jones, will seek out those who have the confidence, personality and sense of style to carry out a number of personal appearances and modelling assignments at Telford Shopping Centre over the next year.
They will officially open the Telford Wedding Exhibition in January and will also win a £150 new year spending spree each at the centre.
Entries so far include Katy Overton, a nursery supervisor from Priorslee, who believes women of all sizes can look great in eveningwear, and Jessica Musgrave, a 20-year-old business management student and retail assistant from Shifnal.
To enter send a recent photograph together with your name, address, age and telephone number to Face of the Future 2010, Shropshire Star, Ketley, Telford, TF1 5HU or e-mail at tosullivan@shropshirestar.co.uk
Deadline for entries is December 4. Remember to include your personal statement on why you think you deserve to be named Face of the Future 2010.
