County restaurants make grade
Eight Shropshire restaurants have been featured in a guide dubbed the "foodies' bible" after impressing independent reviewers.

The Good Food Guide has included the cream of the crop in its latest edition and two have made it into the top 50 in the UK.
The guide includes a range of county eateries, including the region's finest restaurants, humble coffee shops and everything between.
The top rated Shropshire restaurant is Mr Underhills, at Dinham Weir, Ludlow, which scored seven out of 10, putting it 32nd in the UK.
The guide says: "Chris and Judy Bradley's restaurant-with-rooms holds a special place in the affection of guide readers and - more than 28 years down the line - visitors are still seduced by its very special cocktail of intimacy, wonderful hospitality and superb food."
The next highest rated is La Becasse, also in Ludlow, which is described as offering fine dining to "knock your socks off".
The guide says: "Alan Murchison's second restaurant provides proof that the words fine dining need not imply uptight and stuffy."
Other Shropshire restaurants featured in the guide include The Waterdine, at Llanfair Waterdine, which specialises in seasonal cooking on the Shropshire and Mid Wales border.
Sebastians, at Oswestry, is described as a homely French restaurant while The Crown Country Inn, at Munslow, does justice to good local ingredients.
The Sun Inn, at Marton, offers good, homely cooking while The Clive, at Ludlow, is recommended for its modern British food and Berry's Coffee House, Church Stretton, is described as being a hospitable little British cafe.
The restaurateurs included in the guide said they were pleased to have won praise. Judy Bradley, from Mr Underhills, said: "We never take it for granted. We're constantly striving to improve."
