Shropshire's Freddie Fisher is out of Channel 4's Big Brother. Freddie, 24, from Market Drayton, was evicted from the Big Brother house last night.

He departed with his face painted a shade of purple that matched his shirt, shouting "I love you" to the waiting crowds.

He had faced the public vote alongside Marcus Akin. Freddie became the 10th person to be evicted after receiving 53.6 per cent of the public vote.

As part of attempting to gain housemate status, Freddie had officially changed his name by deed poll to Halfwit.

But the aspiring politician was informed by Big Brother yesterday that as a prize he was able to legally change his name back to Freddie.

Asked about his face paint by host Davina McCall, Freddie explained it as a fox mask to mark him out as "Foxy Freddie".

He spoke of his "rollercoaster" relationship with fellow housemate Bea and said that he felt she had begun "blaming" him for the negativity she felt in the house.
