A main Shropshire road will remain closed today after 100 tonnes of rock crashed down blocking it.
Rocks fell on the A458 at Harley Bank, between Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury, yesterday morning – the third rockfall since a £300,000 improvement scheme last summer.

Jennifer Fullard, from Shropshire Council, said, due to the emergency nature of the closure the council was unable to say when the road would reopen – but it was likely to be over the weekend.
