Sex attack accused in court

A north Shropshire teenager was today remanded in custody following an alleged sex attack on a woman in the county.

Simon Roy Hoare, 19, of Berwyn View, Ellesmere, appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates Court. He faces two charges of sexual offences, which allegedly took place on April 6 at Hengoed Lane, near Oswestry.

Hoare spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.

The case was adjourned to be committed to Shrewsbury Crown Court on April 27.
