A man suffered horrendous facial injuries today in a chainsaw accident at a Shropshire farm.

A man suffered horrendous facial injuries today in a chainsaw accident at a Shropshire farm.

The injured man, in his 30s, was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital, in Birmingham, at about 12.30pm today, following the incident on a farm at Eudon George, near Bridgnorth.

Daphne Lewis, West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman, said: "The service received a call just before 12.30pm. The man was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital with severe facial and eye injuries."
