Soap star wows club crowd
Hollyoaks pin-up Chris Fountain wooed hundreds of clubbers in Telford as bosses of a multi-million pound complex celebrated its first birthday.
Chris, who plays Justin Burton, strutted his stuff around Pussycats Nightclub in Wellington last night.
The club is part of the entertainment complex which was opened by owner Costas Vanezi last year.
The former cinema site also boasts Venus banqueting hall and Whispers Wine Bar.
Dale Lloyd, spokesman for the club, said about 800 people attended last night's birthday party and went "crazy" for the Hollyoaks hunk.
"It was a really good turn-out," he said, "The girls were going crazy about Chris Fountain. They were all over him."
He added that pictures from the party would be on the website http://www.pussycatsnightclub.co.uk/ tomorrow.
Ryan Thomas, who plays Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, had officially reopened the club as the first "super club" in the county.
The club now boasts a 49 Panel LED dance floor with more than two miles of cabling. It also has four raised podiums around the dance floor, raised seating and chill-out areas.
