Concert will be music to the ears of hospice fundraisers

A hospice that helps patients in Shropshire is set to benefit from a musical evening next month.

The William Aston Hall, Wrexham is set to be filled with the magical sound of music and song as the new venue for Nightingale House Hospices' annual Christmas concert sponsored by DTCC on November 23.

Ticket holders will enjoy performances from renowned Welsh tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths, Robert Guy’s enchanting New Sinfonia, Cantorion Sirenian Singers, Rhos Male Voice Choir and Lleisiau'r Afon. The popular concert will have the audience singing along to festive carols with a live orchestra, promising an evening of festive joy and community spirit.

Trystan Llŷr Griffiths shared his excitement, “I’m delighted to be taking part in the Nightingale House Hospice Christmas Concert this year along with our other special guests. I hope we can entertain and bring some festive cheer whilst supporting this wonderful charity. "

Rhos Male Voice Choir has performed at numerous Christmas Concerts over the years for Nightingale House .

A spokesperson said: “Côr Meibion Rhos is delighted to be supporting Nightingale House yet again. We always look forward to this event. It's great to have such a lovely evening whilst helping to raise money for this fantastic cause at the same time.”

Event Fundraiser Elise Jackson said: “I am pleased to be moving our annual Christmas Concert to a larger venue this year so that even more people can enjoy this most magical evening! It’s the perfect event to get you into the Christmas spirit and raise vital funds for the hospice in this season of giving.”
