Eccleshall Open Gardens returns this summer

The gardens were closed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

Organisers say they are 'delighted' to welcome visitors back to 11 gardens in Eccleshall on June 19 and 20, raising funds for Eccleshall in Bloom.

Programmes will cost £5 each and are valid for both days, they will be available outside of the library on Eccleshall High Street.

A spokesperson for the event said: "Although some covid safeguard will remain in place, this is a wonderful opportunity for a day, or two, to visit this lovely country town of historical interest.

"Previously, refreshments have been available at Ashcoft, but this year, this will not happen.

"In order to support local businesses after the difficult year they have had, we are encouraging visitors to use a variety of the eating and drinking venues in Eccleshall where you will be made most welcome."

Only assistance dogs are permitted in the gardens.
