Joe Hart: England keeper's new Madame Tussauds waxwork ahead of Euro 2016
Former Shrewsbury Town and current England number one Joe Hart has been immortalised in wax as he bids for Euro 2016 glory.
The Manchester City goalkeeper's figure was unveiled by his dad Charles at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool.
Joe will be hoping to add international silverware to his Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup honours this summer with England.
Charles, who lives in Shrewsbury, said: "It's completely baffling to see Joe recreated in wax. They've done a fantastic job, it's as though he's been frozen in time.
"He was really excited to have the honour of getting his own wax figure, I know he's going to love it and is planning to visit himself after the tournament."
When asked about England's chances at the Euros this summer, Charles was upbeat: "It's an exciting, physical team with a lot of in-form players. If they can play without fear and the weight of expectation, there's no limit to what this team can achieve.
"They're a young and hungry group, this tournament can only do wonders for their development."
The creation of a wax figure is a lengthy process and making Joe's was no exception. It took four months to perfect the figure.
In total it takes an experienced 20-strong team to complete the figures, with each waxwork costing £150,000.
