T'Pau star Carol Decker defends model in 'Beach Body Ready' controversy
Shropshire singer Carol Decker is the latest celebrity to join the media storm over the Protein World "Beach Body Ready" billboards.
The advert, which appears in London Underground stations, features a model in a bikini to advertise the brand's weight loss collection.
But it has been attacked as sexist and promoting an unrealistic body shape for most people.
However, T'Pau star Decker , who went to Wellington Girls Grammar School, and later lived at the Pengwern Boat Club opposite Shrewsbury's Quarry Park, waded in by defending the model but taking issue with the drink company's claims for its product.
Decker declared on Twitter: "She looks ******* amazing I'd go gay for the day. Their towting the super power of the drink is the problem not her."
