The 21-year-old wheelchair racer, whose speed on the track has earned her the nickname Hurricane Hannah, will be joining 3,000 others fans at the T-Live festival headlined by chart-toppers McFly.

A self-proclaimed Galaxy Defender – the name adopted by McFly fanatics across the world – Hannah once described meeting McFly as better than becoming a double world champion.

After telling her 18,900 followers on Twitter that she would be at the festival, she later tweeted: "Didn't realise @Stooshe @Lovable_Rogues @LUMINITES were supporting @mcflymusic this weekend. SUPER excited now!!"

Telford & Wrekin Council spokesperson Charlotte Dade said: "We are thrilled that T-Live is bringing stars to the crowd and not just to the stage."

Doors open at 3pm. Tickets are still on sale and cash purchases will be allowed on the gate, however anyone paying by card on the day will need to purchase their tickets from the Ice Rink. Call the ticketline on (01952) 382382.
