Shelved: Market Drayton pub revamp was set to create 20 jobs
A plan to create up to 20 new jobs in Market Drayton as part of a major pub refurbishment has been shelved.

The Gingerbread Man was due to close temporarily for the upgrade before reopening as a Hungry Horse on September 28.
The extensive revamp was supposed to create 20 new jobs .
However, Hungry Horse has said it will no longer be taking on the pub under its brand and has not released the reasons for this decision.
A Hungry Horse spokesman said: "After careful consideration, the Gingerbread Man will remain a Fayre and Square pub at this time, which is another of our family-friendly brands."
