Grays Hotel in Telford will now be known as Ramada Telford Ironbridge.
Tom Gray, chief executive of the hotel's owner, Southwater Event Group, said he was delighted to have joined forces with Ramada, part of the Wyndham Hotel Group, which has more than 7,400 hotels worldwide.
"All existing staff will stay with us, this is purely a change in image to position our hotel more clearly for guests and event organisers," he added.
