Midfielder Nurse, a Guyanese international with two caps, has previous experience with the likes of Sutton United, Stevenage, Hinckley and Tamworth.
But he comes to the Bucks after a spell in America, playing for the Rochester Rhinos in the USL first division.
The 6ft 2ins 25-year-old has Guyanese and Barbadian heritage - and brother Jon, who plays for League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge, is a Barbados international.
Telford are understood to have got international clearance in time to field him against the Spartans this afternoon in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Bucks were originally due to make the trip to Birmingham today for one of their closest games on the fixture calendar.
But their continued interest in the FA Cup meant it had to make way for the fourth qualifying round tie away at Blyth Spartans.
They will now play Moors on Tuesday, November 3 (7.45pm) instead.
