Graham Dyke's side were carrying the Mid Wales flag as they host CKSV FC of the Macron West Wales League.

They went behind in the opening 15 minutes as Michael Murphy edged the visitors ahead.

The lead was doubled ten minutes into the second half as Patrick Harry netted with Crosses now facing an uphill struggle to get back in the game.

But just after the hour mark they did have some hope as Lewis Birch reduced the deficit.

However, that was for all of six minutes as Murphy grabbed his second of the afternoon. But Crosses would not lie down as Rob Weir pulled them back into it for the second time.

With eight minutes to go through their hopes of taking the game to extra time was all but killed off - as they gave away a penalty and Murphy secured his hat-trick from the spot before Chris Howell-John wrapped it up in injury time.

The result means Crosses bow out as the last remaining Mid Wales side left in the competition - as the 20 plus year wait for a winner from the region goes on.
