The 23-year-old, who plays for Primeira Liga club Vitoria SC, was left out of their squad for their fixture on Saturday evening after Wolves made an offer to sign him.

Wolves made a bid of €12million (around £10million), with a 10 per cent sell on clause.

The deal has not yet been agreed for Silva, but Wolves are creeping closer to making him their second signing of the January transfer window.
