Negotiations over Wolves' triple Portuguese transfer swoop have dragged on into a third day.

Fosun and agent Jorge Mendes hope to bring Benfica duo Pele and Helder Costa and Atletico Madrid full back Silvio to the club.

But it is believed that issues with the permanent capture of defensive midfielder Pele are holding up the triple deal, with Wolves hoping to announce all three signings at the same time.

The 24-year-old is thought to be considering other options before making a final decision.

Silvio and winger Helder Costa are poised to join on loan.

Wolves were banking on getting the deals done today ahead of tomorrow's Molineux friendly versus Swansea.

Meanwhile, striker Nouha Dicko is back in light training after minor surgery put his comeback back by a few weeks.

He will now be built up gradually until he's available for selection again.

Medical chief Phil Hayward said: "We expect that to be in maybe three to four weeks time, and he will need some reserve team games to continue that gradual build-up before he is up to speed and ready for the first team."

The Swansea game is Wolves' last before the Championship season starts next weekend.

Kenny Jackett said of the friendly: "I will be naming a strong side although at some point it may be that our young players are also given an opportunity to see how they perform at Molineux against a Premier League side.

"It should provide us with just the sort of test we need before the season starts with Rotherham, and then a packed August programme to follow."
