Wolves' Scott Golbourne: We want the title
Wolves want the League One championship – and defender Scott Golbourne reckons they can go up another gear to bring the title to Molineux.
As the battle for automatic promotion gathers intensity this weekend with a trip to face leaders Brentford, the left-back is convinced his team is still to unleash its full potential, despite a five-match winning run which has kept them on target for an immediate return to the Championship.
"We want to be champions," he said. "So every game is one we want to win.
"There is definitely another gear in this team. There are bits and pieces in training and we see what some of the lads are capable of.
"If we can bring that extra gear or two into games it would really help us in that push at the business-end of the season.
"Performance-wise, we are coming close to our best and it is the right part of the season when you want to up your game and be at your maximum."
