Kenny Jackett: Wolves ready for Preston fan invasion

Wolves are braced for another capacity invasion on Saturday as Preston fans respond to the gathering momentum of their team's promotion challenge.

A 3,500 sell-out in the Molineux visitors' section is predicted, matching the capacity following from Coventry fans earlier in the season.

It should help whip up another atmosphere to relish and is in keeping with the mood among Simon Grayson's outfit as they bid to claim the third spot currently held by Wolves.

Preston's run of form has seen them win nine of their last 13 league games.

"This is the type of game which everyone wants to be involved in," said Lilywhites midfielder Lee Holmes. "The top four have cemented themselves up there. It is now up to someone to make a little run for it and put themselves into a strong position.

"Wolves away is a big game but it is not going to seal anything one way or another. It is not going to define a season."

While Preston have been surging up the table, Wolves have faltered with just one victory from the last seven games.

Head coach Kenny Jackett knows the pressure is on to turn things around. "In terms of recent results it is not promotion form," he said. "But I also feel that recent performances have been very good in several of the departments of the team and we can capitalise on that."
