Hungry Wolves up for the survival fight
Dean Saunders today insisted Wolves have the appetite for the survival fight.
Wolves went into today's derby at Birmingham with three wins in four after Saturday's gritty 3-2 success against Middlesbrough.
They were still in the bottom three at the start of play because they had scored fewer goals than Peterborough.
But boss Saunders firmly believes the players are fully focused on avoiding the drop.
"The players have got the bit between their teeth now and are showing their character," said Saunders.
"Instead of just lying down and looking for people to blame, they've rallied together and the spirit is good in the camp."
Saunders urged his players to continue their revival with some of their rivals in improved form too.
"I don't know what it's going to take to stay up because everyone is beating each other," he said.
"But we just have to worry about ourselves and not think too much about the other results, hoping we can get two or three quick wins and not be in that situation with two games to go where we need to win."
